In any hierarchical organization, higher level staffs are busy with meetings and other administrative tasks and might not be available in their offices all the time. When a person has to meet them, the person needs to go to their offices and see whether they are there or not. If the people are there not, either the person will have to wait till they return back or come back to check again after a while. Instead of doing this, it will be more fruitful if the person can get information regarding the presence of the staff in their offices. And, Out Of Office is exactly that platform which aims to do exactly that. Out of Office is an android application where higher level administrative staffs will update their status and users can view the status of higher level staffs. Firstly, this application is targeted to be used within DWIT. Students and stakeholders of DWIT can simply view the status of the administrative staffs. While administrative staff have to logon to the application using valid username and password to update their status. Once, they update their status and it will be reflected and stakeholders can view the updated status
